Chris Claus

Chris has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years.  Today he serves in a leadership position on several public and private boards that leverage his expertise in investments, real estate, banking, and life insurance.  Previously, Chris held a number of senior leadership positions over the course of his 20-year career at USAA.  He was a member of USAA’s Executive Council from 2001 to 2014.

In addition, Chris held various P&L responsibilities throughout USAA, serving as President of the Investment Management Company, Chief Investment Officer, President of the Financial Advice and Solutions Group and Executive Vice President of the Enterprise Advice Group.   

Chris received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Minnesota, Duluth in 1983, and an M.B.A. from University of St. Thomas in 1989.
